Learning Architect: Manager Development plays a crucial role in
achieving this vision by building exceptional leadership across
multiple levels of management. This role designs and implements
strategic learning solutions tailored to meet the development needs
of managers throughout multiple career stages: new managers,
developing managers, managers of managers, and senior managers.
You'll be responsible for leading complex projects and initiatives
to enable people managers at every level to navigate challenges,
grow their leadership skills, and drive Lyft's success through
their teams. - -

Responsibilities:
- Program Design & Development: Design, build, and deliver
scalable, high-impact learning experiences for managers, primarily
at more senior levels. Tailor programs to address distinct needs,
such as building core management skills, growing leadership, and
managing managers. Create learning paths that guide managers
through various stages of development, ensuring practical
application and meaningful growth at each stage. -
- Content Strategy & Curation: Develop and curate custom content
that reflects best practices in management, DEIB, feedback culture,
and coaching. Integrate interactive, short-form learning materials
into the flow of work to promote continuous development and easy
access to learning.
- Program Delivery & Facilitation: Lead and facilitate engaging
learning sessions, including workshops, labs, and experiential
learning programs. Encourage peer learning and community building
by facilitating post-session discussions, manager cohorts, and
group reflections. Mentor and train internal leaders and managers
to become effective facilitators, building an internal network of
facilitators who can deliver leadership programs across the
company.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with business
leaders, HR teams, and subject matter experts to ensure learning
solutions align with evolving priorities and the leadership
capabilities required for success. Collaborate across functions to
develop manager-specific tools, frameworks, and assessments that
reflect Lyft's manager expectations.
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Implement assessment tools
and feedback loops to measure the effectiveness of manager programs
and refine them based on data and participant feedback. Monitor
industry trends and emerging practices to keep programs innovative
and aligned with best-in-class approaches. Explore opportunities to
use automation and adaptive learning to support managers with
real-time insights and just-in-time learning. -
Experience & Skills:
- Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in learning design, with a focus on
developing managers.
- Proven ability to design and implement manager-specific
learning programs that address diverse leadership challenges.
- Skills:
- Strong instructional design skills with a deep understanding of
adult learning principles.
- Expertise in curriculum development, with the ability to design
learning paths that guide employees through progressive
growth.
- Experience creating scalable and engaging content, including
both formal and informal learning experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex learning initiatives
from start to finish, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder
needs.
- Expert facilitation skills for in-person, virtual, and hybrid
audiences, ensuring an inclusive and impactful learning experience
in any delivery modality.
- Data analysis skills to assess program effectiveness and
recommend improvements.
- Mindset:
- Curiosity and passion for continuous learning, with a drive to
stay on top of manager development trends and innovations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability
to work cross-functionally.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule - Team Members
will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays,
Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles
have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per
year.
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco
area is $104,000 - $130,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a
variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and
geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity
offering, bonus or benefits. Your recruiter can share more

location and other factors during the hiring process.
