MA.Ramboll is seeking a Consultant, Life Cycle Assessment
(LCA)/Decarbonization to join the firm in Spring 2025.Applicants
must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a

team as our new Consultant and work with us to close the gap to a
sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Consultant, you will
consult with clients across various industries on a range of
topics, using technical analyses, including carbon emissions, to
inform our client's sustainability approach in areas as varied as
carbon strategy, corporate sustainability initiatives, climate risk
evaluation, climate action planning, and environmental, social and
governance (ESG) strategy. You will be part of the Transformational
Sustainability Service Line (TSSL) in Ramboll's Environment &
Health Division. Our group consists of energetic, caring
individuals who are passionate about helping Ramboll's clients
tackle their most challenging problems related to climate change
and sustainability. The individual we seek will work in
multi-disciplinary teams; analyze and communicate information; and
work cooperatively to guide decision-making.Your key
responsibilities will be:
- Delivering Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Carbon Footprints
- including those that undergo third-party reviews, environmental
product declarations (EPDs), carbon neutral certifications, and
other "green" product labels.
- Providing subject matter expertise and technical leadership on
LCA and carbon footprint standards (e.g., ISO 14040/44, PCRs, EPDs)
and regulations (e.g., LCFS, product environmental footprint, EU
Taxonomy).
- Supporting clients with design for sustainability (DfS), green
product assessments, and green/sustainable product strategies.
- Delivering sustainability and decarbonization analyses, with an
emphasis on carbon accounting (scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG inventories)
and climate reporting (CDP, TCFD), science-based targets (SBTi),
net-zero strategies, and roadmaps.
- Actively participating in a growing network of Ramboll
sustainability practitioners that span our services across
Environment & Health, Energy, and Water.About you
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental
Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related
discipline.
- 1+ years of sustainability, LCA and decarbonization experience
and 1+ years of consulting experience.
- Subject matter expertise in GHG emission calculations, methods
and standards, strong spreadsheet and database skills, strong
written/verbal communication, problem solving and organization
skills.
- Initiative, good judgement, and strong prioritization
skills.
- Ability to work independently to a deadline and ability to
manage and prioritize competing stakeholder interests.What we can
