Job Description:

Electrical Controls Specialist - Full-time, year-round position with a salary range of $58/hr to $62/hr. Requirements may vary by location.Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control circuits.
• Inspect and evaluate rides for proper function, detect electronic/electrical malfunctions, and respond to trouble calls.
• Order parts for maintaining ride control systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer, Cedar Fair, and state guidelines.
• Maintain and improve ride control systems, coordinate activities with other departments, and perform annual preventative maintenance.
• Document and maintain ride control systems, prepare maintenance records, and assist in other areas where control expertise is required.Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic repair and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of electrical controls experience, including at least 2 years working on similar electrical and electronic controls.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, processors, components, and communication networks, with excellent skills in motor and motion control methods.
  • Valid driver's license.Benefits:
