B&W Equine Vets are looking for an Equine vet to join the ambulatory team at the Breadstone clinic near Berkeley, Gloucestershire
We require an equine vet with some experience to join our Breadstone team, covering a wide area extending across North and South Gloucestershire and into the Forest of Dean. We are a friendly team of 5 vets with a wide range of experience and are looking for a team player who has excellent communication skills and is keen to build their own client base whilst developing their professional skills. This role is offered initially as an 18 month fixed term contract.
Your clients will range from family pony owners to competition riders and you will have the best mobile equipment (DR, ultrasound, endoscope, gastroscope, motorised dental equipment) at your disposal to enable you to deliver optimal client care either at the clients' yard or at the clinic. A specific interest in dentistry or orthopaedics would be an advantage.
Not only will you have the support of your local team but also the backup of a state-of-the-art fully equipped equine hospital supported by Surgical, Medical and Imaging Diplomats. The ambulatory team is based out of the hospital site so provides an ideal opportunity to foster professional relationships and follow cases through the referral process.
The hours are full time (45), currently working as a compressed hour 4 day week with a favourable 1 in 8 shared on call rota. Whilst the vacancy is full time, part time hours or a job share may be considered for the right person.
