But most of all, you enjoy working with animals and their people!--Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:Perform nursing care for critical cases, consistently evaluating the patientCalculating CRI's and providing advanced hospitalization carePerform in house laboratoriesProficient in IV catheter placementGive accurate and detailed patient rounds--Perform safe restraint for fractious and frightened patientsObtain TPR's, keep medical records, understand when to alert DVMAdvocate for the patient and client--Basic Required Qualifications:High school diploma2+ years--of clinical experience--in the veterinary industryStrong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriateAn active CA state RVT license is preferred but not requiredWork Schedule:4/10 schedule Wed-Sat Swing Shift 12pm-10pmWe offer a $3 hourly shift differential for swing shiftsPay range : RVT $30 - $40 /hr VA $26- $34/hr--Benefits:Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, 3 weeks accrued paid time off, and uniforms--Ethos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
