Job Description:

Title - RN Labor and Delivery
Location - Tracy, CA
Duration - 13 weeks
Shift - Nights; 36hrs/week with every other weekend as needed.

Pay Package:
W2 Pay Rate RT (Regular Time) $35.00
W2 Pay Rate OT (Over Time) $52.50
Nontaxable Weekly PerDiem $1,442.00
Total Weekly Gross Pay Package $2,912.00

Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates. Assess the physical and emotional needs of laboring women.
• Provide emotional support, education, and comfort measures. Help women use pain management techniques, including medications and natural methods.
• Continuously monitor both the mother and baby, identifying any potential complications and intervening as necessary.
• Prepare for and assist in the delivery process, ensuring a safe and sterile environment. This may include performing neonatal resuscitation if needed.
• Provide care and education to new mothers after delivery, including breastfeeding support and monitoring for any complications.
• Educate patients and families about the birthing process, postpartum care, and newborn care.
  Required
  • 2+ years of RN Labor and Delivery experience required.
    • Shift: Nights; 36hrs/week with every other weekend as needed.
    • CA license in hand
    • Certs: -BLS, ACLS (AHA), NRP and Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
    • MUST be comfortable with baby and delivered mother!!!
